Dr. Ayman Kamel

Dr. Ayman Kamel is one of the founders of Petbook Veterinary Clinic in Al Quoz, Dubai, and a small-animal veterinarian and surgeon with more than five years in small-animal practice and emergency care. He holds a diploma from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Mansoura University in Egypt and has worked in both Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.

Much of his work sits on the diagnostic side of the clinic: scanning and X-raying the cases that arrive without an obvious answer, reading samples through the in-house laboratory, and turning those findings into a treatment protocol. He also handles anaesthesia and pain management for the surgical list — the part of a procedure owners worry about most and hear about least.
